The Rylex Story

Ly Tran Ly Tran is the C.E.O., Vice President and Co-founder, of Rylex Consulting.

He has spent the last 14 years selling: computers, office supplies, printing, and toner to Hill Air Force Base as well as many private companies. He has gained a reputation with both his vendors and his customers as a hard working, honest and ambitious sales person willing to go to great lengths to make his customers happy and provide excellent service.

He started working for Tolman Computer Supply in 1992 with no previous sales experience (he didn't even know how to turn on a computer), within a year Ly became the top salesman for Tolman Computer Supply and continued to be the top salesmen for every year thereafter. His personal approach, and genuine interest in his clients created loyal and lasting relationships through the years. Even when clients move on to other companies, they still contact Ly and maintain their friendships with him. His ability to fluently speak: Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese and English has benefited his customers as well. As he works with IT Vendors from different states and communicates in their native tongue he is able to negotiate favorable pricing he passes on to his clients.

Ly became so well respected and valued at Hill Air Force Base, that Doug Case a Federal Sales Rep for MPC-G (Formally Micron Computers) approached his bosses at MPC-G and proposed an agent agreement wherein Ly would service MPC-G's customers and receive a percentage of all sales at Hill Air Force Base. They valued Ly's RELATIONSHIPS at Hill Air Force Base, and he was able to increase their Federal Sales.

Ly learned at a very young age, the value of loyalty, honesty, determination, hard work and most importantly how to get along with and love others. Ly was born in Vietnam. At the age of 12, he escaped from his war torn country, on a refugee fishing boat and was eventually sponsored by a family in Utah. He left behind his parents, and 5 brothers and sisters. In 1991, he fulfilled his promise to his Family and sponsored all 7 of them into the United States. They are all now Proud American Citizens. He is a Survivor, a Hero to his family and a Man of his Word.

He has taken his core character traits and incorporated them into a company dedicated to providing SOLUTIONS that will make his CUSTOMERS SHINE!

Tamara Tran is the President and Co-Founder of Rylex Consulting. She attended Brigham Young University and studied Political Science and English. She has worked over 16 years in the Banking and Financial Industry. Her primary responsibilities with Rylex are: the Day to Day Management; Human Resources; Accounting; Contract negotiations; Accounts payable and receivable; Vendor/Supplier relations; Operations.

Her many years' experience working in the highly government regulated, Mortgage and Commercial Lending industry provide great experience working with government, contracting, business accounting and financial management.

Rylex has two divisions: IT Support Services and Hardware. By providing both servicing capabilities along with the ability to provide for the hardware/software needs of their clients, they are a perfect link to the SUCCESS of organizations they provide work for. They have sales reps in Utah, Idaho and Nevada.
